Romans 5:8

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

While I was yet a sinner
Not knowing right from wrong
The Lord loved me dearly
And suffered with me long

All the time knowing
One day I would return
To the God of my fathers
And say, the lesson has been learned
